Our key team members are Khaldoon Azawi, Gregg Morrow, and Dean Silvester. During the past two decades we have held various consultancy, contractor and client-based positions. This has provided us with a sound knowledge of infrastructure engineering and insight into the day-to-day management of infrastructure assets and local authority systems and processes.

Dr Khaldoon Azawi

PhD (Eng), CMEngNZ, CPEng, IntPE

Khaldoon is a civil infrastructure engineer with more than 25 years experience in the management
and maintenance of transport and infrastructure assets. He has worked in consultant, contractor, client
and client secondment and client roles.

He has a wealth of knowledge in the areas of road asset management and pavement modelling,
network management and maintenance planning, contract, and project management.

Khaldoon has a practical approach with client teams and the issues they face. He is also well versed
with forward planning and work programme development.

Gregg Morrow

BE (Civil), MEng. St, MEngNZ

Gregg is a civil engineer with over 30 years’ experience in the delivery of asset management related
services, both as a Local Authority Engineer, and as a consultant. Gregg is dedicated to the practice
of asset management of road networks in New Zealand and beyond and has provided expert advice to
both Local and Crown road controlling authorities.

Gregg’s skills include leading projects and managing the delivery of asset management specialist
services to a range of clients. He has authored various research and technical documents.

Gregg is recognised within the industry as a thought leader in identification of the required dataset,
and the data capture/storage process, to support informed decision making and better asset
management practices.

Dean Silvester

BE (Civil)

Dean is a civil infrastructure engineer with more than 20 years’ experience in the management and
maintenance of transport and infrastructure assets. He has worked in consultant, contractor, and client
secondment roles. He has strength in the areas of infrastructure asset management, pavement
performance modelling, and operational and contractual management of asphalt and chip seal
surfacing.

Dean has a wealth of experience with forward planning and work programme development, ranging
from project identification and prioritisation to treatment selection and pavement repair
identification.
